Looking at current world affairs, humanity stept thru the door of the super dark ages. Inadvertenly opening a door to hell makes sense!

You’d think he’d concentrate on trying to stem the flow of people leaving through the main doors of the church, never to return, rather than playing silly symbolic games to maintain an air of mystique and importance.
Pray for the kiddie diddlers and pass the collection plate.
