If you’ve hung around this website long enough, you’ll know I am fascinated with animal intelligence; African Gray parrots, crows, dogs, dolphins, and (here it comes) octopuses being some of my favorite animals. Not to coin a pun, but I’m a sucker for octopus stories, and I love watching videos of them or reading about…
ATTENTION: If the UFOs destroy your enemy, then the UFOs are FRIENDLY.
We can work out the details later.
DO NOT REJECT “THE UFOs”.
Matthew 7:20
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
I’m with him.
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.

really wierd biblical replies fly around the clock.
nine brains. that could be really tentacular. that’s almost a web. is it possible that it experiences its center of consciousness in each of them, or it moves between?
I am reminded of the idea that we have some kind of thinking seated in our gut. This may help us understand the way neural processing could be holistic across the organism rather than a brain centric point of view.
I can’t remember where I read it -maybe here on Giza somewhere- but scientists have apparently looked closely at the genetic code of cephalopods now. They have found that their genetic code, especially the ordering of the genes defy all evolutionary laws they think they know. They are positing mysterious genetic jumps to explain the impossibility of it all. Sounds like ptolemaic epicycles to me. A few years ago in the mainstream science community it was being theorized that cephalopods were actually of extraterrestrial origin. There is something very strange about them and it seems that the scientific community doesn’t know what to do with them.
exactly. and the 20 to fill…
This is very exciting, suggests so much more than our species timeline impact on earth. If you divorce yourself of the initial condition conditioning, that homo sapiens sapiens is the seed of top level domain intelligence, then these creatures could well be alien, even if not extraterrestrial in origin. It’s healthy to be humble about our place in the ecosystem. Gotta love dolphins too, I love dolphins.
