OK, I’m posting this and I am still laughing so hard I spilled my tea! First off, I married a man who was intersexed, I have trans friends and am anything but transphobic (whatever that means). But I also have a degree in Anthropology and the idea we shouldn’t sex skeletons because we don’t know how the person self-identified hundreds or thousands of years ago is insane. I’m sorry but it’s just insane. Besides there are burials of people buried with grave goods that would be counter to their usual gender role - men buried in women’s clothing and with cooking pots and women buried as warriors with weapons to hand. So in those cases, you don’t know how the person identified their “gender” but we know they probably played a rather unusual role than that usually assigned to members of their biological sex. Do not read this while drinking hot liquids!

“The times, they are literally going insane!”.
Power has definitely gone to the heads of TPTB, and driven them mad - beyond belief!

That really puts the quack in quackademia! It’s beyond the pale, but they just keep moving the pale… This critical-theory-inspired nonsense has got to be the greatest peacetime distraction invented in modern history.
Since it denies objective reality, this identity politics and gender confusion will inevitably fall apart eventually. One thing that worries me personally is that, far from doing anything to help any kind of minority (racial, sexual, or whatever), this insanity – if it goes on long enough – is going to create a massive backlash of intolerance against those very minorities. The activists don’t care about any group of people; they care about power and getting it for themselves, co-opting and using minorities as cover.
I can assure you these lunatics do not represent the views of all (or even most) homosexual men or women. I seriously doubt they represent more than a tiny, radical fringe of whatever minority group they claim to fight for. Then they try to group together gays, lesbians, and heaven knows who else in a motley hodgepodge of people who supposedly constitute the same group, under the contrived, ever-expanding acronym LBGT[etc.] – a bunch of different people who have little or nothing in common besides being human. The sooner these lunatics are taken out of positions of influence, the better off everyone will be.

@bluenose If you’re talking about the woke activists, I agree. If the bovine excrement the woke keep throwing at the world is going make the majority furious at a minority just because the woke pretend to speak for them, that’s a different story, to me anyhow.
