One can’t conquer a people unless the culture is destroyed first. While I was never a fan myself, I certainly didn’t look down on those who were. Jared Cushyner doing something similar is no surprise at all.

… it seems that we have a Ministry of Truth, Records Department and that quite a bit of “history” of all kinds is being “memory holed”. Wherever the Records Departments Office is we need to apply for a job there and sabotage its operations.

OK, now that’s weird. For whatever reason, I was just talking to our young interns at work just a few days ago about MTV. I remember when it first went live. I used to sit there on the sofa in the summer for hours on end watching - no commercials, no VJ’s, just music videos, much of which were from concert recordings. Absolutely loved it! …and now this. What’s next? They gonna erase Gilligan’s Island and I Dream of Jeanie? How do people still not see what’s happening?
