Unfortunately not the Blynken of Wynken, Blynken and Nod … which of course we would be better off with one of the Fisherman Three …
Blinken: “The administration is of course reviewing (who we killed with) that strike and I’m sure that a full assessment will be forthcoming,” [Blinken said], leading Paul to press the issue.*
Sen Paul: You’d think you’d kind of know (who you were in the process of killing) before you off somebody with a predator drone."
" … a full assessment" - what incredibly cold, hard hearted (like a Pharaoh’s or Jack the Ripper’s or non-human–as in lacking empathy one might say) language. I, for one, am not holding my breath waiting for this “full assessment”, and my recommendation is that no one else should either.
Also notice that Blinkin refers to this vague, apparently governmental entity, “the administration” who is doing the “assessment”. Shouldn’t that be done by someone just a teeny, tiny more specific say the “named person or persons” who signed off on this particular attack (drone strike is just - in the words of the CCP – a little to “sissy man”). Oh right, I forgot, there was no document with Hitler’s signature authorizing The Final Solution therefore, he didn’t know what Heydrich, Himmler et al. had in mind.
I guess there has simply been to much time and distance between Gehlen Org’s training and methodology and what passes today for “intelligence”.
