Only took them 50 damned years to finish this up and tear it down! This was a major crime event reported world wide. For quite some years afterward, all found hitchhiking in Houston & much of The State of Texas were taken straight to jail.
Originally, 28 murders were attributed to Corll (leader), Henley & Brooks but, in past years, more bodies have been found. It’s thought by law enforcement that the number of Corll gang murder victims might rival those of Andrei Chikatilo.
In Waller, TX, there used to be a cafe on the main hwy that when you walked in the door, to the immediate left was a very large book on a pedestal to the side of the cash register, which at first glance, you might think is a Bible. When you get closer, you notice the headline on each page and signatures: “Please sign this book that we take to Elmer Wayne Henley’s & David Brooks’ (Corll accomplices) parole hearings each year, in order to prevent them from ever being released from jail. They tortured and murdered our son.”
