Yikes! The van seems to have arrived at a bad time too.

I was born and raised in part of tornado alley but never saw the sprites. They are absolutely incredible.

Most of us as kids loved the tornado sirens since we knew we were going to the basement if we were at school, to play cards and what not. The tornados in the 50’s and 60’s weren’t near as intense and potentially devastating as they are now.

Pecos Hank still my favorite. Love not only the storms, but the creatures he photographs & catches.
