Personnel is policy

Project 2025 WAS a Heritage adjacent group - here’s a great video from a few years back explaining how it came to be: college kid joined Trump team early, ended up working in the office of Personnel (whatever it’s called) and found out he could really move some levers putting actual pro-trump-agenda people in positions of power. 2025 was the plan to ‘hit the ground running’ to have good rules/choices in place to help place the 4,000 appointees given the executive. [promoted as a very REAL form of cutting back on the administrative state]
The project did die an ignominious death recently - murky as to if co-opted, poor pr management, other policy shaping group won out…

Sundance at Conservative Treehouse (the opposite of a never-Trumper) recently poasted his version of ‘who would move policy’ in a theoretical future Trump presidency as well.
