Pertinent Overheard Conversation Thread

This is a random idea.
Post any random conversations you overheard that pertain to what we discuss, which give you some ‘on the ground opinion/intel’ of the hoi polloi.

This one in my opinion is RE COVID/quackcine injections:

At Walgreens the boy cashier told the middle aged woman (whose 2 kids were sick in the car) who I allowed to cut me in line ‘oh sorry to hear they are sick. It’s weird, it seems like everyone is sick all the year round now.’ (as opposed to cold season in winter). She patently ignored that interesting statement and talked about their school.

I will reply to myself with another one while it’s fresh.
My coworker went to Ireland for a week and just got back.

She said ‘migrants are everywhere!! And I had no Irish food. I don’t think they have much of it in the city. It was all pizza places and kebabs . My favourite was the fish and chips’

I said, that’s English :slight_smile:

She went to Dublin and Galway, I believe.

It’s a good idea Chris, and I’ll try to think of some convo’s I’ve listened-in on that have usable intel…

For now I’ll say that, in my area at least, most people range from blissfully oblivious to being stuck in the two-party shift-the-blame op… still seems to be working like a charm.

This upcoming truckers strike may break some people loose. Doubt the goobernment will let them strike for long. Probably pull a Justin Trudeau on them.

Edit: should add that although I attempt to bring up Data Centers, etc in most every random conversation…next to no-one has even heard of them

NEVER HEARD of data centres?!?!
In Colorado they are building them a lot so even in our mainstream newspaper they have discussions on regulations and saving our water and stuff.
And also random stories (rare) of people defacing/disabling AI cameras.

Business owners, etc. They could probably tell you who’s playing on Saturday Night Football though…

It sucks to wake up and one day realize that everyone is plugged into the matrix and realize, it’s not just a movie. It’s for real. People are overwhelmed with everyday life. Work, bills, crime, cost of living. They hate their mother, their father never took them fishing. People are in survival mode.

I don’t talk to my wife about most of this stuff we talk about here. Not sure it would serve a purpose.

I’m the guardian of information.

This movie still resonates.

You look at things, listen to things and attempt to derive meaning. They ain’t on that level man. It just is what it is. That’s an advanced mindset. That makes YOU the teacher.

Next time instead of saying “everyone is sick all the year round now”

Try one of these lines.

“The Establishment is angry that everyone is sick all the time. Their goal was to kill everyone. Fortunately, you made it”

It will make it difficult for her to switch subjects or she’ll run away from you.

I sincerely apologise for my poor punctuation, it was written in a hurry at work.
Why i brought this up is because its the 19 year old kid working the cash register at Walgreens that told her that!

I had dinner today with a friend and his wife. They live in a retirement community of homeowners. He and few others there maintain the community pool. One of the guys in the group has had eight COVID shots so far. Neither my friend nor his wife fell for the covid hoax. Several in their community have died since covid, some are barely hanging on. They both do what they can to look after their neighbors.
