Found this video from three years ago in site’s search feature posted by QVBB…no comments were left. I found the synopsis and explanation of these four thinkers ideas and their impact helpful in understanding the irrational carnage we have today.

Absolutely, they do. Unfortunately, nutty philosophers (or nutty interpreters of philosophers) have plagued the world forever. It was only when I started learning about the origins of wokery that I realized just how much.
Toward the beginning of his talk, which I didn’t listen to in full, he mentions Marx, Nietzsche, Sartre, and Foucault as the four he’s going to focus on. Did he mention Antonio Gramsci and the nuts connected to the Frankfurt School? If not, he could/should have.

I think as a Catholic bishop with his intended audience the Malta Society he was concentrating on how the subjective belief in God anchored objective reality and the impact on radicalization of thought, not the radicals themselves.

Got it. The Gramsci-inspired “long march through the institutions” and the Frankfurt folks’ ideas also had a huge impact on radicalization of thought in the West.
