Hermeneutics and Perspectivalism | Dr. William Roach - YouTube
From Descartes’ Meditations to Kant’s Categories to Nietzsche’s Perspectives to today’s Wokeism…is objective and immutable truth possible or is everything merely relative and subjective…
It’s telling that this philosopher milieu ultimately discounts all objective and immutable truth claims yet proceeds to manufacturer and maintain their own…generally speaking, in the end this milieu appears to construct a sort of ever-shifting epistemological nihilistic feedback loop (aka a prison)…I think of it like a quantum physics-like framework of reality where nothing seems as it is and all rules are suspended within a bizzaro-world reality…no wonder Nietzsche lost his mind…
Juxtaposed to this you have objective and immutable truths as reveled from the mind of a transcendent perfect Being who sits above His creation where both He and His revealed truth are unaffected by any and all human perception and experience…it’s the belief in and acceptance of this framework of reality that is the key which unlocks the door and free’s the believing and accepting soul from the deadly feedback loop prison of the philosophers…
As we all marvel at how insane and bizarre our world has so quickly become of late…we need look no further than this underlying philosophy where objective and immutable truth is unknowable and that all truth claims are merely subjective and relative and therefore any view of reality is as good as the next…this is epistemological Darwinist evolutionary survival of the fittest…this is the Fascist Triumph of the Will…this is Wokeism…this is insanity…
But then again…this is nothing new…it was this way from the very beginning of our current human era that the Creator set in motion in that garden so long ago as is revealed in scripture…when the serpent whispered in Eve’s ear saying…“has God really said…” it appears that the serpent is the true father of this perception is reality philosophical milieu…
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
As always with all things pertaining to the Christian faith…it’s just that…it ultimately requires faith…but then again…it’s not blind faith…but faith based on the most solid evidences that countless millions have believed through the centuries and have even given their lives for…still one much weight the evidences and come to their own conclusion…this is the beauty of freewill that the Creator has given to us…like Eve…we must choose…
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6
