Hoomans have not graduated above the laws of power. We’re still a warring planet.
Decline is inevitable of government institutions until we find an anecdote for Machiavelli. Power is a drug likened to cocaine. It feeds on itself. Thus men who are high on power will always use these institutions for their own immorality.
They will worship Moloch, Kali etc. Have sex with little boys. And if all the positions in government get filled, they’ll join the clergy.
I don’t know if it is humanly possible to not have a constitutional system, based on natural law, designed by enlightened men not fall by the vices of the human condition.
The cycle just rolls on as it always has. Birth of a great nation. King Arthur or George Washington. Rise to Glory, fall to hell.
The subgroups, political parties subject to the same controls. Power, corruption and general lack of enlightened men to steer our destiny
I don’t belong to a political party because none actively can even articulate how and where the founders got their natural law and codified it.
There is a book on what the founders read. We’re all morons. They were polygots. All the disciplines of Ancient Greece and Rome. Ancient mathematics, stoic thinking, rhetoric, logic, critical thinking, bible and assorted esoteric literature
Their day to day writings, twitter of 250 years ago, were missives on character and ethics. They would try to show each other up by who was the most ethical.
The word ethics was counted and it shows up in their writings thousands of times. Ad nauseum
Our politicians don’t write. Espouse no philosophy. Have no character. And their understanding of how economies work is the n the dinosaur age.
Education is crucial. Our culture is too far gone to foster the intellectual curiosity necessary to rear great men or women.
