Police to Remove UCLA Protest Encampment? - LIVE Breaking News Coverage

Oh geez, war protesters rise again from the ashes of the 1960’s. Peace and harmony is just not cool.

As far as I’m concerned, protestors should be raiding WDC and disbanding Congress, giving 99% of them the boot.

Not that I’m advocating violence…No No…

Terrible set-up for a mass shooting. Sure hope not but all bundled up like that, could get real nasty.

Per CNN:

LAPD will secure perimeter
CHP will enter encampment
LA Sheriff’s Dept. will cover crowd control

Police and military usually like schedules so guess on my part is 9pm PT could be go time.

I think CHiP’s gonna need a bigger motorcycle.

Someone in chat put “Team Poncharello to attack Fort Plywood”.
I would think police would cut all the campus lights and just work off choppers, & whatever else. Wonder if they have klieg lights, or similar lined up?

There are reports of someone on the roof in tactical gear, hopefully not a sniper. Definitely a tense situation.

Yes, sniper on the roof.

What a perfect time to pull off a major robbery somewhere.

You can be sure there will be censorship of footage taken of any action, could be worth screen grabbing live streams. Not good optics pre election.

Can’t really see if lights cut and police lights blind everyone.
“Pre election” for whom?

One of the banners said NBA playoff game just ended so might be waiting for traffic to clear and more police to arrive.

It’s election year in US, unless they suspend the constitution first

My question to you is whose election? Newsom or someone else.
It’s no question for me, I think election has been arranged already.

Did they just start cutting the power?
No, guess not yet…

Rigged elections, surely not

I will be surprised if they let this all go live.

Where was this police response to ANTIFA ?
I’m trying to resist the " Jews are running the show " narrative but man.

Since they have already fenced themselves in, a dozen skilled wranglers and some equipment, I could clear it out in a few hours, without doing harm to the livestock.

And it seems that’s exactly what they did, with less flare than you would have though. I fell asleep and big storm came through here. My timing was certainly lousy. Thought they’d go long before they did.
