Pope Leo XIV : The church must not retreat into its own religious certainties and convictions

I have no words - except that precisely opposite might be more effective and true in this time.

“Dear brothers and sisters, let us seek not to retreat into our own convictions and religious certainties, but to remain open to an authentic relationship with Christ.”

If you can divorce the people from the Holy Ghost you divorce them also from the Father and Son, which is what they want. What is left are people drowning in confused feelings that are easily led to slaughter banks. Another word for it would be sacrifice, they are bringing it all back!

this is pure heresy. this sentence: “but to remain open to an authentic relationship with Christ.” implies that one does NOT have an aut. relshp with Christ, so has to remain open… and in his ‘view’ this contradicts (“but”) " ‘own’ convictions and religious certainties".
what kind of ‘own convictions’ does he talk about?
I do not continue, I am tired, but ask a real theologian. maybe Doc. he’ll find 4-5 more points at least. this sentence is a textbook example of 'how to lie and obfuscate piously. just start with ‘dear bros and siss’, they are not dear to him (he would not lie otherwise, 1st lie), and thus are not siblings in Christ (2nd lie)… maybe later I’ll come back to further the plot

… that is indeed a very strange utterance. He really should clarify that statement. I’m curious if at any point in the statement does he use the word “belief”. In his mind, or that of The Church, is there a difference between “beliefs” and “convictions” or “certainties”?
