I wonder how much more manipulable people may be by overt mind-control technologies when they are already taking any sort of psychodelics…all those mass-shooters who also happened to be on cocktails of drugs spring to mind. Imagine a whole society under such direct control…“You will own nothing and you WILL be happy!”
