Interesting that the “Ancient Origens” site neglected ancient history, officially Pepe II ruled Egypt for 94 years, though I see this is now “disputed,” which I have never heard about. He took the throne at age 6, and one writer mentioned how it must have been absolutely terrifying at the time when he died, as no one was left alive to remember when he wasn’t the King, a probably no one who had actually seen the ceremonies for his coronation. Somehow I think some revisionism is going on with the “dispute.”
