James Corbett on New Word Next Week pointed out that the next bio scare is likely to be a screwworm outbreak in Texas. They are already setting up the facility to release the parasite, no sorry I mean distribute the vaccine. I would have said pull the udder one but with that kind of news it’s hard to stay amoosed.

James Corbett lives in Japan and does not have livestock or he might have actually ignored that story altogether as it being NECESSARY, not hatched under some evil plan.

The devil is in the detail. The proposals for dispersal at the APHIS facility include the use of GM flies as well as the traditionally irradiated sterile ones used in the 50s.
Guess I’m literally screwed because the plant in Texas is about 20 miles from my home.
