Before everyone gets too excited about this purported SCOTUS leaked document/opinion. Check out page 30 of the leaked SCOTUS opinion. Worrying aspect is also in that opinion, the right to privacy = personal autonomy and right bodily integrity are also being overturned. So State by State abortion rights may be returned , with increased rights, while the right to privacy and the right to personal bodily integrity and autonomy, within both the Roe and Casey cases are also being overturned, the latter being the foundation for the former and more important legally. Smell a rat? No? Well if the Casey case (sorry horrible alliteration) is also being overturned what about mandatory vaccinations? As a recovering “leftie/progressive,” I’m not sure how I feel about this anymore. This is an issue that would have wound me up a few years ago, but I’m much more ambivilant now. I thought Glen Greenwald’s analysis on his Substack page (link) was pretty interesting.
Hopefully TX will ban (6 week rule is horrible) & austin Our State will empty out.

Just clarifying, I am strongly against the exploitation industry, experimentation, torture, murder, sorcery… made possible by the murder of millions of human babies.
Nevertheless, Good point @MarkSean. The right of privacy (“my body, my choice”) created in Roe is an argument for those who do not consent to the shot nor to the continuing experimentation of the medical corporations. It makes me wonder (or confirms) all of THIS being part of a plan since WWI.
On one hand, why give up on legal abortion when it seems more and more babies are needed i.e.: the legislation legalizing killing babies 28 day after birth? On the other hand, does a negation of Roe and Casey mean it truly will be open season on all humans in addition to the already genetically modified humans (who are probably patented now)? Not my body, nor my choice.
I have a nagging feeling that entire SCOTUS works for democrats and they hold control files on all of the justices. Working on Roe v Wade months before midterm election plays right into a dems playbook. If you consider that 69% of Americans agrees with right to choose, this subject becomes a " hot potato " during the congressional and senatorial campaigns, at least dems are counting on it. It will become a key issue in swing states and may sway numbers for dems. Horrible taming to make decision on RvW if you are a running republican and want some moderate, undecided votes. Why couldn’t they(SCOTUS) work on it after the November?
It is almost assumed that John Roberts (through staff) leaked it. He is DEFINITELY compromised and working for the Progressives.
Excellent deductions. Oh yes, hot potato for sure but, I don’t mind if they give it back to individual States, which IF IT WERE CONSTITUTIONAL, decisions belong to States.

No, I still think that Novemver 2022 is a key. Win for Trump republicans in swing states, provides for him a way to come back not in 2024 but in 2022, and DS wants to stop it and RvW plays into that.

@QVBB I feel the same way about the “why now” question. The timing of this seems fishy to me – it feels like some kind of public-relations maneuver meant to get people angry. How convenient that it comes just before midterm elections where the Dem Party is more unpopular than ever.
This leaked, alleged draft decision also turns up the volume even higher on the chaos and divide-and-conquer, which the powers-that-be have kept at near boiling point for the past six years in the U.S.
I think in the advertising (propaganda) world a “leak” is considered a “soft launch” of a product or idea. Next will be the poll results.
