As a kid hanging around horses, I saw her several times. She would also attend my uncles parties in Kemah on occasion. She was extremely kind and always spoke to me and the other budding horse-lovers like we were the most important people in the world, no matter our status.
When she rode her horses, it was jaw-dropping to see them as one unit; almost no separation between them. They were a magnificent team.
She was adopted as a baby by The Robinson’s and we all envied her; not in a bad way but, thought of her as the luckiest lady alive… Until John Hill condescended to show up at the stables one day. Let’s just say, he had a completely different vibe.
