If they pass a privacy law that allows consumers to opt out of anyone having access to the data, I would be willing to use one for my own information, as long as I believe the data is actually private to me.
As soon as that device is on your body, the data is in hundreds if not thousands of hands already.
Many people already are consenting to wearable devises to monitor their health and location. For example heart monitors, diabetes blood sugar monitors, etc.; some send data to cells, others to data centers or to both.
when they become mandatory, my neighborâs goat is not going to be happy about wearing mine.
