Japan is in the background.
A HEAVY presence, to Taiwan’s independence.
[Keep those Taiwan/Miyako straits open for enegy]
Japan’s ties to India, in their shared CHINA threat.
Both Russia/Japan have a common concern = CHINA
Russia/Energy - Japan/Technology(high-speed rail)
Location/location/location = shared interests = Beware The DRAGON
The DRAGON has its own problems - which one wants contained.
As WAR, is used as a last resort - to strengthen domestic weaknesses.
Military protocols/exercises simply strengthen & excellerate those bonds.
