RUSSIA KICKS SATANIC TEMPLE OUT; OHIO WELCOMES IT IN

There’s some interesting cultural politics going on right now, according to these two articles shared by V.T., and they are - at least to my mind - illustrative of the cultural war taking place right now. On the one hand, in Ohio, the Satanic Temple has been allowed to launch a program in an elementary…

“With the principle of equal toleration has come the idea that no religion has exclusive claims to truth. Though the concept of legal religious toleration says nothing at all about the validity of truth claims, many have drawn the implication that equal toleration means equal validity. We must keep in mind the difference between religious toleration as a matter of legal rights and the concept of equal validity of truth.” -Dr. R.C. Sproul (emphasis mine)

The quote above was taken from an excellent article in which he (Sproul) articulately objects to the concept that “all religions are good and it doesn’t matter what you believe.”

We didn’t get here by accident. From the Congressional Record, January 10, 1963 (pgs. A34-A35), here are some communist goals that came to fruition:
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

  1. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

  2. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Dis credit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

  3. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

Will those fissures and fault lines in Russia appear in the U.S.? (Without a century of misery and destruction of the republic, I mean.)

I suspected this was coming.
The prepping for this, has been seeded by mainstream media for some time.
More to come. …
A sign of times; you really don’t want to be in.
A sign of the USSA leadership’s fruits?
Ye shall know them by their fruits…

Yes, by normalizing the abnormal and the unnatural.

This Match.com commercial (photo below) convinced me we had indeed arrived in the times we don’t want to be in. The YouTube Comments about the message and imagery are mostly positive; however with AI and bots, they may or may not reflect how the culture responded overall. It seems folks in Marysville, Ohio liked it enough.

The leadership? --yes, for certain. But God of the Bible has demonstrated that people/nations get the leaders they deserve. King Saul comes to mind as do the captivities (plural) during times of the judges (not to mention conquest of Israel by the Assyrians and Judah by the Babylonians). God sets up kings and kingdoms and takes them down; He is sovereign.

Perhaps I am living in the times I deserve; not having done enough to oppose evil in my sphere of influence. On the flip side, perhaps I am being conditioned to gird my loins while the ground increasingly trembles with fissures and fault lines.

As Popeye used to say, “I have all that I can stands an’ I can’t stands no more!” With all that the UN, WHO, WEF, etc., have planned, people need to figure out where their line in the sand is.

Small towns are where those pesky, conservative, Christian constitutionalists seem to live. Taking the battle to their headquarters I guess.
