Russia to export up to 50 MILLION tons of hydrogen by 2050

What’s not mentioned is the “hydrogen problem” from just a few years ago. That problem being the natural escape/seepage of hydrogen through the earth’s crust to the atmosphere. At that time Russia seemed to be the only country openly talking about it (Vladimir Larin). I can no longer locate this YouTube video featuring Larin. At the time, the biggest impediment seemed to be the storage of this hydrogen not the capture of of it. Japan was to help them in this regard. Today we have national “hydrogen strategies” around the world which involve extracting hydrogen from natural gas. I could go on a bit further but I’m not a science inclined person. So I will finish with a couple of questions. Since the natural seepage of hydrogen, in northern climes benefits the climate change mantra, has this research been openly silenced (but still ongoing in the background)? Will the aforementioned strategies throw a lifeline to the natural gas industry by using it to promote and produce hydrogen to save the world from climate change? Think along the lines of the Rockefeller quest to dominate “green energy”.

Larin’s books and short biography.
