Victory is not about occupation; it’s about destablization.

You are correct, Robert. The Russians have been preparing for military escalation for many years prior to their most recent invasion of the Ukraine. All this was foreseen since The Orange Revolution in 2014 as stated in the first sentence of the RT article, “For Russia, the pre-war period ended in 2014.”

All true but ask the average American or European citizen and they will claim the Russians are the barbarians. Never mind that Russia has been invaded by the Mongols, the Turks, the French and then the Germans.
I remember being taught history in school as needing to remember the aggressor on tests. The circumstances around the need for aggression was pretty much glossed over.
I have posted this idea many years ago which is Christianity spread into Russian territory in the Middle Ages by missionaries. The Christian Faith became so widespread that around the year 988 AC Russia declared Christianity to be the only true religion and therefore adopted that belief system as the only acceptable religion.

The planet Earth does not always spin on an axis running through its North or South poles. I have a Catholic relative who keeps repeating the predictions of Our Lady of Fatima, as though the Russian Federation has not changed one iota since 1917 - she complains the Pope has never consecrated Russia to Catholicism.
I answered that she was not considering that Orthodoxy IS Christianity, in many ways more true to Christ’s teachings than even the traditional Catholic Church (which is obsessed with hierarchy).

I don’t think Russia has an appetite for it. My opinion on their goals in the UKR have changed since last year. The ‘drone’ attack on Engels, this year’s Spiderweb attack. London&Uncle Sam seem to be at least half a dozen steps ahead of Russia.
We have no original writings from the time of Jesus…only hearsay from his followers.
I am beginning to think we need to question “Christianity” itself!! It has not changed the world as it was purported to do. A Belief System is just that…just because we believe something doesn’t make it true, IMO! I will admit it has been a great control mechanism for humanity. 
Christianity is the same as simply being a decent honest human. Unfortunately history shows we are outnumbered and were taken advantage of by the crafty clever ancient ruling families who used the chosen tribe and other hired help to do their dirty work.
