BLUF: Outrage continues surrounding potential Trump arrest. Intense riots continue in France. China/Russia relations improving.

-----BEGIN TEARLINE-----
-National Events-
NY: No major updates on potential Trump arrest. There have been minor fortification efforts undertaken, with NYPD setting up barricades outside the NY Municipal Court. Multiple internal alerts and warnings have been sent to various agencies that might play a role in the potential arrest. No observable shift in narrative that might indicate government agencies walking back their goals.

-International Events-
France: Mass protests and riots have continued, despite Macron’s ban on protests. These riots originally begin as a result of Macron using executive powers to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 without a vote from parliament.

China/Russia: This morning Xi Jinping arrived in Moscow for talks with Putin. This comes on the heels of Putin’s own visit to Ukraine (specifically the city of Mauripol), where he observed the occupied territories for the first time since the invasion.

-Analyst Comments-
Fortification efforts are underway in NY (and almost certainly Washington D.C) as tensions remain high surrounding Trump’s potential arrest. So far, there seems to be very little effort to actually organize protests in any significant way. However, the little info that’s available surrounding this incident is very unreliable. Based on the little information we do have on the atmospherics of the situation, it seems ever more likely that nothing major will occur. Protests/riots might happen, but will almost certainly be localized and low-intensity. Of course, with a historic milestone such as this, anything can happen. However distasteful it might be, we must remember history. The regime has done a great job at ensuring that the average American thinks that everyone they speak to “is a fed” these days, which has been an extremely effective First Ammendment supression tool. Though, these concerns are not entirely unwarranted…in many cases federal agents target average citizens with the goal of entrapping them, simply for their political views…any slight opposition to the current Regime is targeted more heavily than any genuine counterterrorism concern. As always, everything in the world of politics is a careful balance. And in this case, it seems as if the balance has tipped in favor of most Americans both not having reliable, reasonable methods of recourse, but also lacking the desire (and capabilities) to rebuild them. Considering history, it is hard to believe that Trump’s arrest would result in any kind of mass organized movement. However, his arrest would be a milestone, and will almost certainly serve as a catalyst for reacting to other issues. Simply put, this may be the last straw for many, who will view the targeting of a political opponent as the Biden regime crossing the Rubicon, even among people who don’t consider themselves Trump supporters. In that case, Trump’s arrest itself is immaterial, but the meaning behind it is crystal clear. Thus the importance given to this event by people who don’t really care for politics. Arresting a political rival on obviously ridiculous grounds may be a bridge too far for the Biden regime. But what happens when/if that bridge is crossed, we cannot know at this time.
