Well, in the wake of the US Supreme Court’s decision to reverse Roe vs. Wade, you just knew this one was coming(article courtesy of V.T.): Satanists claim they’re entitled to abortion as a religious rite The Satanists claim, on the basis of their being an “officially recognized” religion, that they have the right to practice…
Wondered this AM what was up with the Supreme’s decision that prohibits rampant sacrifice of living human young. Thrilled about the decision, but waiting for the other shoe to drop. One thing though, a woman would have to go to greater lengths to kill their child and maybe, just maybe rethink it.
If you read the SC decision, this is not a “prohibition” on abortion; they are returning the decision to The States. Individual States now have the responsibility & not the federal govt.
An important distinction to keep in mind.
Yes, aware the Supreme Court kicked it back to the states; however, as you probably know, some states have noticed outlawing abortion and others are looking at restrictions. This in effect should reduce the number of babies being killed every day. Every baby saved is a victory.
Soooo…according to the satanic temple, abortion is an utterly satanic thing to do. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.
Just because all religions are protected under the Constitution doesn’t mean all religions are equally valid.
Nowhere in Our Constitution does “freedom of religion” cover child sacrifice.
My observation that the most lit up groups over this are the Andrenochrom/celebrity and “hookup culture” crowd
i’ve heard that before. and yes, it is ‘satanic’. religious. freedom. oh.
This is a lot different to call something a sacrifice instead of a murder. I agree that abortions are murders, but this is the first I’ve heard the word sacrifice being used in this context. If a murder takes place for the sake of satan or some other being, then that would be a life sacrifice, which seems a lot worse than murder.
The practice of child sacrifice is a common one throughout history, since our recorded time, from the Mayans to the Hawaiians; all over the world really. It was practiced openly. Once Christianity came to the forefront it become practiced in secret.
I believe the Pharisees of Jesus’ day were practicing the Old Religion & knew that Jesus knew it. No other “messiah” had the following that Jesus had, nor displayed gifts, knowledge & understanding of scripture and real Jewish “law” that Jesus did. Hence, the reason they had him crucified.
Here’s an excerpt of Dumezil’s study of Archaic Roman Religion:
“The history of the religion of the Roman Republic has for a long time shared in the relative stability which has been recognized in the entire written tradition of this meticulous people. To be sure, the learned men of antiquity and, relying on them, a number of Renaissance scholars, did express doubts, point out contradictions, and emphasize improbabilities. But this did not touch the heart of the matter: in the second book of his De republica, Cicero accepted without question the authenticity of each king of Rome, beginning with Romulus and Numa, although he was to neglect the fables which ornament the stories of the reigns. In consequence, European scholars felt somewhat reassured by the hesitations or by the frank declarations of skepticism with which Livy, Dionysius, and even Plutarch seasoned the history of the first centuries: was it useful or wise to disregard the criticism of the men who, with documents at their disposal, had sensibly evaluated them and, finally, had decided to use them while noting honestly the limits of their reliability? It was a French Hugue- not, Louis de Beaufort, tutor to the prince of Hesse-Homburg and member of the Royal Society of London, who, in a book published at The Hague in 1738 (second edition, dedicated to the stadholder, 1750). coordinated and amplified the reasons for doubting, not only with Livy and Dionysius but against them, beyond the frontiers of their doubt. 1 He sifted the sources which they list, rejected as non- existent or falsified the Annales Maximi of the pontiffs, the libri lintei, and the Tables of the Censors, and allowed to stand only the Memorial of the Families, which, however, he challenged as being brazenly misleading.”
Not sure what your line of thinking is here?
Please don’t attempt to rationalize The killing of our young can not be rationalized. Our Lord will will repay.
Who are you talking to?
They have claimed this before. I remember there was some noise about this a few years ago. It had to do with the ‘heartbeat bill’ I believe.
