And don’t forget most all studies end with, “more research is needed…”
And if you need/want the research published that challenges the current paradigm/text book ideas, it probably will not be published and used to damage the researcher’s career.
And don’t forget most research funding needed to keep a university post comes from government funds. Only a fool bites the hand that feeds them.
