Despite the title of this post, I think that it has been determined that the CTEH employees killed in the crash were headed to the I. Schumann & Co. metals plant explosion site in Bedford, Ohio … right?
Norfolk Southern, as well as multiple news outlets, referred East Palestine residents who “… have further questions or concerns, they may call the CTEH Taggart Road Hotline at (234) 542-6474 to speak with a toxicologist.” Some sites refer to that same number as a hotline.
According to CTEH website, the late Micah Kendrick had safety roles that included train derailments. The late Kyle Bennett had “seven years of experience responding to crude oil releases, well control events, trail derailments, chemical spills, and various other emergency responses and incidents in diverse settings.” The other three decedents were not listed on the CTEH website.
All I can conclude from those references is that CTEH was contracted to provide some sort of toxicological support for the East Palestine event. Has there been any confirmation that one or more of the CTEH plane crash victims was involved in East Palestine?
