Yes! The New Atlas is another site that I quickly observe as he is former US military, realistic about current capabilities, and experienced enough with connections to give intelligent updates on whatever he covers.

Pretty good interview, but Ritter was dead wrong in his last statement by saying the Ukraine war was unnecessary or could have been avoided. The Russians have been planning for several years to reunite the Ukraine with the Russian Motherland. The Ukraine’s fate was decided when it became serious in applying for NATO membership. There are several variations on the background of this issue. Here is the Wikipedia version that the Ukraine was intent on joining NATO.

Not as much as Canada, Australia, NZ or other so-called commonwealth countries. where each cent out of dollar goes to current occupier of British throne.
