It seems as if they have to sacrifice someone to keep eyes off other areas & other people. The question is, did Dr. F know ahead of time he was going to be the sacrificial goat & secretly well-compensated for it (or made an offer he couldn’t refuse); or just got surprised & hung out to dry with no real warning? True theatre.
