This sounds very mob-like, children and all. I wonder if these people knew, or saw something? Maybe they didn’t really know the significance when they did, IDK. Murder/Suicide?
Carbon monoxide poisoning is not unheard of especially during the heating season. Or, maybe not.

Very true, as is mistaking one home for another. And that’s a good point. Don’t think GSW’s mentioned, but they wouldn’t mention that anyway.
