Sites in Berlin

I recently discovered the works of Dr. Farrell and it goes without saying, I’m blown away.

I will be traveling to Berlin in one weeks time and I just know I will eventually read something from Dr. Farrell which will make me say “if only I had known this when I went to Berlin”.

So, if anyone may offer names of sites which are of particular interest, for example, anything Bell related - I would be greatly thrilled to visit. Additionally, if there’s anyone who wants photos/video of some such sites, I will do my best to return here with such recordings.

it is very kind of u to ask ‘us’. unfortunately my Berlin stay was like three decades ago, and i really cannot recall any meaningful or impressive. so i can not give a good tip what to look for and wonder, but just hope others with mature minds will give some good hints.

Have you listened to Dr Farrell’s discussions with Tino? (You can speed them up with the settings wheel) So interesting ! I am in Paris btw.

I recommend walking by some of the wall memorial sites!

Also there are a lot of cool artifacts at their natural history museum.

Thank you Kalamona. At the very least, I will see plenty of history in the museums. Anything high-octane would be a massive bonus.

Perfect! I will listen to these.

I’ve never been to Paris, nor France for that matter. I recently moved to the UK, having just escaped New Zealand. Europe is now convenient, I have a ton of traveling to do.

If I recall, most things Bell-related took place in territory that’s no longer part of Germany (for the moment at any rate…). I think most of the Bell-related experiments were taking place in territory that is today within the borders of Poland. Other Gizars, please chime in if my memory here is incorrect.

By the way Berlin isn’t really that German of a city anymore and changes a lot every few years. Some of the historic buildings where the Third Reich command was based out of still stand, one of them has a big glass dome built on the top and is open to tourists.

Nevertheless the first time I heard JPF 10 years ago, he was talking about those documents released by East Berlin in the early '90’s revealing various strange troop movements at the end of WW2, and giggling about the 70,000 Paperclippers. Having tried unsuccessfully to ignore war for 6 decades, I had little idea what he was talking about. But I was hooked.
Berlin is a very important city. Today I would just visit the Brandenburg gate and listen to its concertos. This would be a moment of osmotic learning in the world of analog.
