How can live be via a video transmission? Step outside, that’s live. There was a quick short break in the cloud cover where I live in South Texas to enable a view of the eclipse as the moon was uncovering the sun. I noticed the temperature dropped too.
I was in Wyoming for the 2017 eclipse and yes the cows did act a bit strange…

Some people do not have the access because clouds did not break, or were not in path.
I get that…using the word live for a televised event without the viewer in attendance is an oxymoron in mind.
