I did some digging on Tim Walz, mostly financial.
I couldn’t find any reports of excessive wealth build up since he got in to politics in 2006.
On the contrary, as a governer he declined a $20 000 pay raise, during his time in congress, he returned $80 000 to the treasury from a cost of living increase. These are all in the public record.
Also, nothing popped up on his children Hope and Gus either.
I don’t know what to make of this guy. He is an anomaly.
