I never quite understood the penchant that Hawaiians have for Las Vegas, except for the glitz and glitter; as there’s no gambling, not even Lottos allowed in HI.
Was talking with my BF on Kauai and she said more and more are deciding to leave Maui for mainland, esp. Las Vegas. Her son lives in Vegas.
Heartbreaking but not unexpected and TPTB knew it.
