Sorry to inform you DJ and Dr. Farrell ... "impersonating an historical event" is now a terrorist act

Hmmmmm … wouldn’t the commission of a “false flag” fall into this category? Then, so by definition wouldn’t it be the case that members of any 3 (or more) letter agency sitting around a table discussing the planning of such an event could be charged with conspiracy to commit a terrorist act?

… and what about the poor historians? Doesn’t this make the writing of history extremely problematic? What if it is the case that it turns out that the “history” they have written turns out to be false? Will they then be charged with committing terrorist acts? What a unique method of censorship that has been created here.

… wouldn’t the creation and promulgation of “impersonations of historical events” now be considered terrorist acts? New York Times et al. ?

… and after all what else have we learned in the last few decades one can / may
mislead or misspeak as long as one does not tell a lie.

But for the record as Winston Churchill said, "The conditions of the Transvaal ordinance … cannot in the opinion of His Majesty’s Government be classified as slavery; at least, that word in its full sense could not be applied without a risk of terminological inexactitude. “Terminological Inexactitude” yes, yes, that’s it … a fee nothing more.

what does it even mean “impersonating an historical event”?
thanx for the article!

Obviously the idea came from a group of female impersonators who, until recently, have been marginalized. Another case of identity politics?

I have no idea what “impersonating a historical event” means, but I’m not convinced discussion of Mars & space info. was the trigger; everyone’s heard that before. For me, I was rather bored with the regurg, until they started talking about “agreement”. I thought, uh oh. Go back & listen to it. Doc & DJ literally tell the world how to overcome all this. That part of the conversation really woke me up.

… Well eb please see below a copy of YT’s “Impersonation policy” (Yes, they do have one.) … unless there are other “places to click” to see more about “impersonations” I don’t see any mention of “impersonating an historical event”. No matter how many clicks deep on hot links regarding “impersonation policy” I can’t find any description of “impersonation” (and they have many) that could be construed as being able to be applied to the content of the DJ / Farrell video. Maybe you or others can see something I missed.

Impersonation policy

The safety of our creators, viewers, and partners is our highest priority. We look to each of you to help us protect this unique and vibrant community. It’s important you understand our Community Guidelines, and the role they play in our shared responsibility to keep YouTube safe. T ake the time to carefully read the policy below. You can also check out this page for a full list of our guidelines.

Content intended to impersonate a person or channel is not allowed on YouTube. YouTube also enforces trademark holder rights. When a channel, or content in the channel, causes confusion about the source of goods and services advertised, it may not be allowed.

If you see content that violates this policy, please report it.

  • If you feel that yours or another creator’s channel is being impersonated, you can report the channel by following the instructions here.

What these policies mean for you

If you’re posting content

Don’t post content on YouTube if it fits any of the descriptions noted below.

  • Channel impersonation: A channel that copies another channel’s profile, background, or overall look and feel in such a way that makes it look like someone else’s channel. The channel does not have to be 100% identical, as long as the intent is clear to copy the other channel.
  • Personal impersonation: Content intended to look like someone else is posting it.

Examples

Here are some examples of content that’s not allowed on YouTube.

  • Channels with the same name and image as another channel, with the only difference being a space inserted into the name or a zero replacing the letter O.
  • Using someone else’s real name, user name, image, brand, logo, or other personal information to trick people into believing you are that person.
  • Exactly matching a channel description to another channel.
  • Setting up a channel using the name and image of a person, and then pretending that person is posting content to the channel.
  • Setting up a channel using the name and image of a person, and then posting comments on other channels as if they were posted by the person.
  • Channels claiming to be a “fan account,” but actually posing as another’s channel and reuploading their content.
  • Channels impersonating an existing news channel.

Please remember these are just some examples, and don’t post content if you think it might violate this policy.

What happens if content violates this policy

If your content violates this policy, we’ll remove the content and send you an email to let you know. If this is your first time violating our Community Guidelines, you’ll likely get a warning with no penalty to your channel. If it’s not, we may issue a strike against your channel. If you get 3 strikes within 90 days, your channel will be terminated. You can learn more about our strikes system here.

We may terminate your channel or account for repeated violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. We may also terminate your channel or account after a single case of severe abuse, or when the channel is dedicated to a policy violation. You can learn more about channel or account terminations here.

I’ve read this previously and you didn’t miss anything, because, it’s not there.

To the tune of we’re all in the Army now: We’re all terrorists now…

Sounds like YT wants us to self sensor so they don’t have to do it for you…lazy bums. They just don’t have enough categories yet to squeeze everybody into without having the appearance of being heavy handed sensors. After all, they’re on our side and just want to help!

Lol, that’s great! We’re all conspiracy theorists now! I mean sh!@ if they’re gonna set us all off, we might as well dig it and look into them while the good Lord let’s us. I have a story for you. I always hated public schools. I lived on a farm that my Grandpa was forced to sell and divide by imminent domain in the 60s. Back then, it was cool to be a farmer and neccessary, and why America came together during the great depression. At 8 year old I was severely gifted as an artist. On all 8 channels we had, they’d put a picture of a pirate up and ask the audience to draw and submit it so they could be illustrators to. I drew it. One day there was black, I want to really say Corsican or Concorde in the driveway, and they talked to my mom cuz they wanted to make sure I was really that age and wanted me to go to school in Washington. They were in suits but not MIB creepy. I said no cuz I didn’t want to leave my grandmother. A year later she died. A woman called the humane society cuz our free range cows barn was in the back, and my dad refused to let them see inside but did let them see the barn from the yard. Cows don’t always shelter when it rains. Two days later the new elitist children said I stank and smelled like farm animals to the point I refused to go to school. I was bullied mercilessly, gained weight and my counselor begged my mother to put me on Ritalin. I was told it was my fault for the abuses I incurred. To this day I always hated public education system. And today I get to see the glory of every parent waking up to what a meat factory it is. Sometimes if they call you crazy, it’s cuz you’re just a little too hip to the plan and you’re not scared anymore. Today it’s called terrorism to be against it. Put me in a fema camp, getting shot in the back of the head by a man in uniform isn’t the worst thing the government can do to you, compliance always is. It’s just amazing to me I was once smart enough to be recruited by DC but found mentally ill when forced into public school. You just can’t win with these folks, might as well dissent, and be slandered.

@bluenose
Exactly! Great description.

I wonder this to cuz I see it on the right as well. Is a social credit score something we can even avoid? It’s here already. I don’t know an American who don’t have a criminal background. And there is a huge problem on the right. I give it the Chauvin test. If they all agree he’s guilty, it’s not dissent, it’s dissent light. If you watch the whole body cam, learn the police policy, I as a juror with all the evidence couldn’t indict this cop. This a huge problem with dissent cuz the so called right made it permissible or even a must to not trust your own eyes. With friends like that, who needs enemies. The right in America isn’t, it’s vanilla left.
