Sound of freedom -the movie

I was skeptical about this movie from the get go.
There were so many things about the whole PR campaign that seemed weird to me.
The interviews seemed like staged theater to me.
It’s not unusual to see actors repeat things in these interviews, but the things repeated seemed so prewritten and scheduled.
Like Caviezel comparing himself to Jesus Christ or worse that he is Jesus Crrist.
“Im 33 years old, my initials are J.C, Im saving the lifes of children; when I relaized this I just burst into tears and felt this warm feeling in my body…I am Jesus Christ”
:face_vomiting:

Then the freemason stuff came to the surface,I was not surprised, just adding skepcism for me.
BUt what really threw me off was the pictures of Mel Gibson with some of the producers of the movie, people with links to the mexican mafia who had a history of …taadaaa…Child traficking.
People ask me why they would be so dumb as to release a movie on traficking if they were involved in trafficking, and the answer to that is as always in these instances; to move the spotlight to or away from where you (don’t) want it.

Hi @Sphinx
Yeah, there was a big brouhaha here when the film was first released.
There’s lots of threads if you search for ‘Sound of Freedom’.
Hope you have a wonderful Holiday!

I know, I was there : ).
Just thought since i posted the actual movie, to be sure to put up some of the controversy to go along with so everyone can make up their own mind, if they take time out to see the film.

Best of holy days to you and yours
