The “Word” may actually mean sound rather than “Logos”

I would suppose the sounds associated with speaking the Latin mass (which few even understand as the teaching of Latin has fallen out of favor) is symbolic of the “word” of the Bible, endearing the tradition over time. By eliminating the Latin mass, the Roman Catholic Church opened the door for the “progressive” modern changes leading to the schism now unfolding.
