Neither, they both want little republics that are easy to control. Promote indigenous movements to balkanize the region even more and continue to call people “Latin Americans” to further decouple them from the idea of an Hispanic civilization which is what we are.
That said China has been the historical ally of the Hispanic world, before the US was even born, before the Mayflower, before English grammar was invented. We were an empire and that empire existed because of CHINA. The Ming Empire was the reason why the Real de Ocho was the first reserve currency of planet earth. A debt free currency based on silver. The Chinese did that and nobody could trade without our currency. The British had to get our currency to trade with the Chinese.
So this question needs to be answer with another question. Hispanic confederacy yes or no North America? Depending on the answer that’s how we go. If Americans support this, we will acomodate North America on our terms, if not, the Chinese will become partners, there is a course of performance like Dr. Farrell says.
In my opinion, we need to have a policy of mutually assured industrialization between north and south America. No more coups. No more regime change. No more bribing. No more playing around with the international financial oligarchy. South America really don’t need anybody, it just need to form the confederacy, be left alone and industrialize.
So true.
Trying to set your own course, is tough in this globalized environment.
Everyone wants a piece of you.
A my way, or the highway mindset.
Even here; its hard to tell who has the country’s best interest at heart.
If anyone, at all.
The United States needs to industrialize. People in the US will be tempted to balkanize, don’t do it Americans. The American revolution was the biggest achievement in the continent because it ended in unity. Our “revolutions” ended in balkanization and fragmentation.
Every country needs a King Arthur, an Arthurian myth to justify themselves and their existence. A narrative that serves as their “Excalibur.” Many of the “revolutionaries” in the civil wars, were serving foreign interests and they sold out. The King Arthur myth don’t match their activities. Not every case is the same, some revolutionaries were fighting for different reasons, a vast majority were bought and paid for.
Empires don’t come back, once they end is over, The Spanish empire is not coming back, what we want is to create a confederacy in the region that can organize and coordinate better. People figure out that since the civil wars in Central and South America, we have not done well.
I would like to see some proof of that. I am pretty sure that China did make it to the Americas pre Columbus, but I highly doubt they had any real economic influence. And if they did, it is up to people like you who make such statements to prove it. Hell, there is more “proof” of the Welsh making an economic and social impact on the America’s at this point.
Spanish History told by the Anglos, can’t recommend any book. I can recommend a wonderful documentary called España: La Primera Globalización, or Spain: The First Globalization. There you will learn about the Real de Ocho which were the silver coins that the Chinese were using. The currency from the Vice Royalty of Mexico and Peru which was the first global currency. The trade with the Ming Empire. The Manilla Galleon and all of that wonderful history. And yes China was our trading partners, they would only accept our coin for trade.
Also when they speak about “The Spanish Empire” they are not talking only about the people in the Iberian peninsula. They are talking about the whole bowl of wax, we were all Spain.
As a weirdo youtube doc addict, I am not so happy that you present a variable like this.
Please link some actual literature. I mean I have read many books on the possibility that China made it to the Americas, but I have never read anything that alluded to what you are claiming.
I will watch the video you presented and comment on it at some point.
My apologies, I cannot watch your video because I do not speak or understand Spanish.
Most revolutions are captured and then twisted.
Some parties are formed by the opposition; from the get-go!
Others; are infiltrated, and taken over.
A very few make it.
Those that do; may do so, simply because their common interests - coincide.
Go look in English Academia, there has to be something reliable on the subject. My golden rule for the Spanish Empire, I only read Hispanic Academia. For the very simple reason - this has been proven time and time again - Neither France, England, Germany, etc, understood the Spanish way of Empire which was Roman. Starting with the Bourbon Dynasty when they took power over the Spanish monarchy.
Never said China traveled to the New World to establish trade. The Spanish Empire comes to you not the other way around. Since 1563 that partnership was established. Most of the people in Spanish Academia will point out, the Spanish Empire started in China.
There are wonderful books on the topic, you have to deal with the Spanish language there is no way around it.
My philosophy at this point is: whatever the history books relate to you, whether it is ecclesiastical or pure “library”, it is probably a twist on the “truth”. The calendar is about to change, the whole financial system is about to abort, so where will your feet land?
I think I have a landing point but “we will see”. Whatever it is, I am a child of God and I am ready for it.
… maybe the “Nazi Document Release” is being used for leverage. Operation Paperclip is bad enough but if it turns out to be the case that we Ratlined Ol’ Dolf out of Germany God help us all … and I wouldn’t put it past Dulles et al. at all, not at all … Just an idea …
They were friends after all, Dulles was in the birthday boy’s box at Berlin Olympics right?
