… NOTHING will happen, NO one will be indicted, NO one will be charged, NO one will be arrested, NOT a single day of jail time will be served by anyone. However, several lawyers will become very wealthy.

If prior experience serves well, you may be right. However, the events in the last 15 years, seem to be pointing towards undiscovered territory. “Der spiess is umgedreht”
I think the missing scientists, ufologist and military personnel, are going to be playing an important roll in the transformation.

People make decisions by looking back at experiences in the past, it will take time for people to open up to new possibilities. It won’t be easy either.
The news about the SPLC, are indicators ( I think SPLC is a loose end it will unravel and draw attention to many other organizations) that things are changing, even if it is verry slow, but we must remember, that their are many people in the world and leaving them behind should never be an option or take the data center story, Its a " you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube" problem and we should try and get the most out of any situation we are confronted with.
Its the age to think for one self and question everything, one idea at a time

The reason for my point of view is in the generation spread. what will happen when most of the boomer generation dies out within a time frame of 10-15 years and their influence vanishes.
I think the world will become a verry different place.
