I believe you meant to say that as long as they pay in Russian rubles, or in Yuan since India is in the BRICS Alliance. Although I believe it has expanded to include other countries. We ought to check on how many countries have joined since its original nations formed that alliance.

No I believe it is only in Yuan because of the 400billion dollar support package from China over the next few years to assist Iran to rebuild the infrastructure after the conflict, and the billions in support currently provided to fight the conflict.

Since my knowledge base about China is pretty much limited to western popular narratives I’ve taken up reading their history translated from original Chinese texts. The story of their resilience of coming back from over 6,000 years of conquests, famines, rising and failed dynasties, western exploitation and assistance to become the powerhouse nation they are today helps me understand their relationship with an ancient civilization like Persia. Yuan for safe passage, take THAT you upstarts and punks… Persia and China are back!
