My cousin died last year but he was a Navy fighter pilot who actually had a nuke on board when he “observed” what was going on in Cuba during the missile crisis. We did not have missile take down capabilities so he was tasked with shooting down what he could and being the kamikaze to nuke the missile site. He then went on to fly for one of the major airlines and between his Navy flights and the commercial flights all over the world, he recalled MANY observations of these crafts.
