Stupid Questions... Bombing Iran Nuclear Facilites

Didn’t post this as a vidchat question because a) don’t think is vidchat material b) thought this can yield a Maurits Escher type of response from the members here. There are so many brilliant people, I’m the C student of the website, so please bear with me.

For months now, stories have come out about nuclear plants being put in danger in the Ukraine war, each side blaming the other for such attacks. My gut feeling always told me, those stories were the primer for something else. The stories kept showing up and what bothered me, was the lack of discussion in the media “yeah that happened” next story. Now is bold and nakedly displayed on the media again “Let’s bomb Iran nuclear installations” and there is no inquiry about the consequences of such actions. Is like everybody is in la la land.

What are the consequences for bombing those facilities? How much radiation will spill out? Will the radiation spread across Iran and the entire Middle East? Will the radiation spread through the whole planet? What you guys think? Every time that type of rhetoric is made, I’m thinking of the scene in the movie Beneath the Planet of Apes, where the chimps are trying to knock down the Alpha-Omega bomb.

On a side note… Is going to be interesting to watch the performance of the S-400 missiles in Iran. The Russians deployed the platform around the oil refineries and nuclear installations.

Western response is already in plain site going on right now in North Carolina & Tennesee. You will be left to your own divises and bereft from any help and or care. I don’t know how many “debacles” are needed to open westeners eyes? We are run by culprits that care nothing but their own interests, whatever they are.

War is already upon us and war is never a sidenote!!! Too many see and treat war as a computer game. If what you describe where to happen you will die, its as simple as that. The better question would be, how much sufforing before death comes!

On the active nuke power stations, the snippets I’ve read are that they’re trying to destroy the peripheral installations, transformers distribution etc. Not the reactors themselves. The peripherals can be much more easily replaced. The reactor vessel is difficult to re-build and yes would release radiation likely similar to Fukashima/Chernobyl (which is in Ukraine BTW) . My question has been how good are the shut-down features on Russian nuclear reactors? Is there enough diesel fueled backup power to run the controls and do an orderly shut-down and are those targets without which the reactor may go into China-Syndrome?

I’m sure there are several parties keenly interested in performance of the S-400 systems against the latest US aircraft possessed by IS. On both sides.

“War is not a video game” trust me, I know. In my family, I have two Korean war veterans. Those soldiers did a bayonet charge, and hand to hand combat against Chinese troops on the battlefield. Those men taught me, to never treat war as a game.

Iran made a strategic mistake from the beginning, you don’t let the enemy commit wholesale genocide in front of the whole world. Is to late for establishing deterrence, They needed to launch a hypersonic missile for every building blown in Gaza, maybe by now they would have established deterrence.

This is war! and there is no turning this back around. There will be no more word magic. There will be no more word spells. Grand abstractions and glittering generalities will have a meeting with persons.

Is there much difference between the United States and Israel, if you take on one you automatically take on the other? Iran hasn’t been playing police as a world empire, I believe that is another country! Many Arab countries betrayed Palestine too. Historic wise, there is a bit more to it all, but you expect a country decades under economic siege by the whole world to play savior and go to war?! No accountability from the rest of the world for being onlookers and doing nothing? I think the people who created, uphold and manipulate the Israeli - Palestine situation should take the most responsabilities. A bit of history on how complex the Israel - Palestine situation is by excellent author Thierry Meyssan.

“Like for like” would be my guess.

Israel hits Iran’s nuclear facilities and Iran takes out Israel’s. In the April attack Iran told Israel which bases in the Negev desert and then hit them 7 for 7 with hypersonics. What else is out there? Diamona.

Whatever Israel hits Iran will hit inside Israel. So how long can this go on? Iran is estimated to have 3,000 ballistic missiles. This may be low but they’ve also sold some to Russia so it might okay as a ballpark.

In April Iran fired about 100 and this time about 200. If Iran goes again I’ll bet it’s 400. Then 800 and finally 1,600. Then they might be out of ammo. The question becomes can Israel even function after that?

People in the Middle East keep talking about deterrence. I’m just saying is too late for that, the Rubicon was already crossed.

Sorry, I believe history tells a different story. Our beliefs are today steered by the seconds of attention span thru the black mirror of technology. I am woefully inadequate in history myself like most westeners, and the implications of history in today’s world. Still one of the best sources in binding history to today’s world.
