This blog was good because it taught me that there are states and local areas that have laws banning cashlessness. That’s good! The way a lot of the areas get around it (I witnessed this in a hotel) was there was ‘cash conversion machines’ which spat out a prepaid card.
Better than not accepting cash at all, I suppose!
I am glad these laws are gaining(?) in traction.

… this, just like the Data Centers, will happen whether we want it or not and whether we like it or not. The “public” test balloons are nothing more than an attempt to get official - through channels -“permission” and to bring out and identify the “troublemakers” and “rabble-rousers” in the community. For example, a public hearing on a new Data Center is held. If there is clear agreement on its construction then they have obtained socially approved (political) “permission”. If this public permission is not granted then all of the public discussion on Data Centers goes quiet. This is soon followed by a sudden surge in the amount of regular media (commercials) and social media (websites and “influencers”). I believe Oracle is behind a number of state level propaganda outlets in favor of Data Centers. This is a common pattern and can be seen most clearly at the local level. The deals have already been made, people and organizations have been paid.
Notice that in the states that have “acted” against Data Centers with legislation that this legislation does not permanently ban DCs from being built they instead simply provide for a “legal moratorium” on their construction. This is nothing more than allowing time for other things to come into the news cycle to divert attention yet meanwhile they are going about the business of doing what needs to be done to achieve what they want.
There is nothing that can be done to prevent Data Centers and Digital Currency from coming to pass.
