Is it any wonder so many veterans come home destroyed in mind, spirit and body. We already knew, but this is beyond diabolical.
There’s far too many of these, especially when 1 is too many. The “system” is meant to fail. That’s part of the coverup. A public inquiry such as in the case below, is the last sweep of the broom under the rug.
Strange how the overall theme of the situation seems to be the failure to communicate. All the say from Lionel’s recruitment process (are you willing to kill?), medical and counseling professionals not sharing information, protocols in the bureaucracy, and finally the grand finale of him killing his own family.
Maybe when he saw the carnage of war and had probably killed someone’s husband and father, the score was even in his mind.
