Well another year has gone by with my little sweet Shiloh. Thank you for your eight years of love and friendship, sweet little dog!
Isnât it fun to watch them grow up, and mature? See their personalities assert themselves. Just like little fur children. Often toddler-level behaviour, but endearing and loving.
Love that she has been such comfort. Despite having a gazillion (almost literally) dogs, my Schipperke sidekick that died last year makes my heart strum music for you and Shiloh.
My best to you both.
Sending you both all the best wishes!
THank you justawhoaman
Thank you Shadownet! I appreciate it.
Her personality has come out for sure. When I first brought her home from the adoption shelter, she was such a nervous wreck (having been through four shelters in two states in her young life). She was afraid of women, leashes, and doors, had a bad limp on her right rear hip. But she has settled in, and has so many smiles and so much love and affection. And sheâs turned out to be quite a chatterbox.
Thatâs great to hear
With our cat, Prince Vladislav Cattikins Costa of Wallachia, or Vlad for short, nickname Cattikins, our biggest challenge is finding how to keep him svelt.
We measured his food, he gets a quarter cup of kibbles twice a day, and one sixth of a can of wet food twice a day, so it should be the proper amount of calories, but now that he is in his human 30s, If that is 5 years for a cat, he doesnât want to run as much as he used to⌠Last weekend he brought in baby rabbits twice, though! I had to rescue them. I think they were unharmed, just playing dead. His jaws just grabs them gently.
They jumped away outside after sitting in my hand and squeaking. thatâs nature, but I still feel the need to save them.
Happy birthday to sweet Shiloh! (sorry for being late)
Animals bring such joy into our lives⌠our little cat is like family to us now, also.
gatozinho gatinho poqoninho!
I am trying to collect my thoughts and joys of you being happy with Shiloh, but it is really hard for me right now.
In the last 3 months my beloved dog died beside me of cancer, my father got cancer and went away too, and during this I got throat cancer as well and almost died from the radiation. Right now trying just to live and be grateful for all of creation.
so. I think that I concluded this:
I am happy for your gratefulness, happy for Shiloh, happy for the others who are happy, and wish at least another 8 years!
God bless You all! +!
So sorry to hear you have suffered the loss of your father and your dog. It sounds as if you were there with your dog when it happened. I think that may have been a gift. I was with my mother when she died, and I hope I will be there with and for her when Shiloh passes, which I hope she will do painlessly, peacefully, and naturally.
Thank you Doc!
He passed away about 2-3 feet from me in peace and silence. And yes, it was a gift. He was a gift!
(I am over my head right now, still too much is flooding, feeling like a teenager. Not used to put out emotions.)
Thanks again Doc, bless you!
p.s.: and I am grateful for your work(s) as well. Tried to contact You through the âContact JPFâ last week, but got no feedback. Iâd like to translate your âThe Cosmic Warâ book (at first) into Hungarian, I think it is a much needed gap-filling and clarifying groundwork for real researchers. Please send an email, if interested.
Sorry I did not get thatâŚIâve had nothing but endless problems with this ânew and improvedâ computer and the ânew and improvedâ security. But I do NOT handle translations. You have to work directly with my publisher, who would want to work with a Hungarian publisher.
Good. Would you be so kind to point me into the direction of your present publisher (webpage/email)? Is it the Adventures Unlimited still?
Adventures Unlimited publishes some of my books, and Feral House publishes some others.
And which one should I consult? Its AU which publishes this one, isnât it?
cosmic war is Adventures Unlimited, yes.
I have been waiting over a year and I just got a notice that it is likely that Della (my fatherâs motherâs name) is possibly in the latest litter. I can not say how important this timing is. God knew you needed Shiloh when she made her available to you, He knows that Della is my next best friend.
I am sure she will send good vibes to Shiloh when she gets here.
