The Ballad of the Next American Civil War - The Sixth of January/Yasger's Farm

I am a folk musician, rather than a classical one, but I also pay attention to the role of music in popular uprisings and movements. I heard this song today, it is making the rounds of rather conservative/libertarian sites, but I think it may crossover. I think it has the potential of becoming the first anthem of the next US Civil War, or perhaps, as I think Amy intended, give us a warning that it might be coming, as the best of this style of music does. It warns in hope, both to prevent and, if needed, to remember pivot points in time. Finally, it is a rather sad but profound commentary about a generation (mine-boomers) who somehow lost their way…

Once the currency resets, everything flips and the differences between cultures will seem insignificant IMHO.

Money replaced the traditional means of power, the struggle will not cease with a redistribution of wealth or new currency.
