I can tell you that NW of Austin, TX (near and around MASON, TX) there are buildouts and housing boom in order to support new chip makers and other industry. Whether it’s all successful, IDK.

The computer chip industry is a very good example of internationalism in action.
Chips are purposely designed w/several key choke points. Points where chips, necessary for your final points, must pass through. And they’re all across the globe. China just recently stole, from such a point in the Netherlands; such technology. Although many require a long time to build to fruition.
Are the USSA and China looking towards ditching those those points;
for nation strength military & commerce?
China certainly is; as the USSA engineered a chip blockade on China.
Hence the theft in the Netherlands.
And that’s one known about.
[haven’t watched the above, but will later/time constraints]
