I’m sitting in the cafeteria at work watching the King Charles coronation and it’s hitting me how he’s being treated as a god man. What is this based on ?
Is it divine genealogy or does the throne transform a mortal ?

I watched it and I loved it! It was glorious!
The land of William Shakespeare. High Culture in action! And they brought it to life today.
Act 1 scene 1. The king entered the cathedral and the young boy stands before the king and asks him “Why are you here?” And the King answers “I am here to serve”.
Loved it!
Loved the history, the symbols, the music, the props, the players, the singing, the colors, the cathedral, the horses, the crowd. Everybody played its part.
A play within the play.
Life is a theatre and the world is our stage.
We all play our part.

Is it possible that the pageantry is there to simply fool people into believing in the divine right of kings or do they themselves really believe it ?
I agree… The world is definitely a stage that each of us plays a role upon …It’s interesting how even William is a mystery hidden behind a mask… Was it really William or was it Edward or was it Francis… We may never know, but there is clearly deeper meaning to many of his plays as it pertains to the Great Work and those powers that drive it…the masked ball continues onward…
It also occurred to me that the ceremony may have alchemical elements to it, the question being who or what is meant to be transformed?

Indeed that part in the coronation was the most powerful, mysterious and a bit creepy to be honest.
What did i watch? What did i hear? What was going on? What hidden meanings are to be found here? What ceremony was this? Or was it sorcery?
Was this another play within a play? A deeper layer only for insiders?

The King and the Composer.
Was it not wonderful to hear “Zadok The Priest” being played during the coronation in Westminister Abby? The place where the great composer Georg Friedrich Händel is buried. Ahh i just love things like this coming together. This is culture and I embrace it with all my heart.

Completely lacking in true charm and charisma. It is unfortunate that Charles seems to have his fathers tacky temperament and looks, instead of his mothers focus and cool-headedness. Not trying to point out anything other than this.
Truly, the ‘class’ of Brit monarchy has lost its glow now that Elizabeth is gone and not sure what or why the crowds are cheering.
My goodness if that is royalty it sure is ugly.
