Accountability is handed over to an algorithm of a computer instead of the age old blaming another human. Once the computer is programmed to make algorithms (maybe they already do, I don’t know) human responsibility is removed so they can go play tennis or video games living a life of “I really don’t need to care anymore.”

I remember a fellow soldier & I crossing the traintracks, outside Bangkok.
There was a chain gang working on the tracks.
We exchanged X-Rated Sign lanuage!
ALL of us were laughing it up!
All, except for the guards in charge.

AI has no empahy.
AI will be the robotic dog guards.
Autonomous killers, with no hearts.

If something can’t feel it’s not likely to have empathy. Ai can learn to assess intent and behavior based on observed or detected emotion in a subject, but it can’t feel it. It will die off in time, I don’t know how , but it is alien pathogen in a natural environment and will somehow be dealt with as any virus, toxic object or parasite.

It’s like a vampire.
It needs “living information”, as a vampire needs red blood.
Otherwise, AI cannibalizes itself; through generation of AI.
Without a living source of freshly produced human information…
AI becomes inbred; geting to be, as dumbed-down…
As those humans who are currently, feeding upon it’s “services”.

A snake feeding upon itself; is an apt analogy.
